Your client just asked
for your number.
Which one did you give them?
You've been handing out your personal cell to every client, every vendor, every Craigslist lead for a subcontract. Now it's 10 PM and your phone is buzzing with work messages mixed in with family group chats. Ringlet gives you a real business number on your existing phone — no second device, no carrier plan, no Google Voice jank.
One phone. Two lives. Zero boundaries.
Right now, your phone looks something like this:
Are you coming to dinner Sunday?
Hey is this the contractor? I need a quote for...
Still on for tomorrow at 6?
Can you hop on a call? Quick question about the...
Happy birthday!! 🎂🎂🎂
Work and life, all tangled up. Which messages can wait until morning?
With Ringlet, work stays in its lane
Same phone. Same pocket. Completely separate streams.

Problems you've definitely had
"He has my personal number and won't stop texting me on weekends."
You can't un-give someone your personal number. But you can start every new client relationship with your Ringlet number. If a project goes south, you block them on Ringlet without affecting your personal phone. Your personal number stays private, reserved for people you actually want hearing from you at midnight.
"I'm on three different client Slack teams and they all have my cell in their CRM."
Give clients your Ringlet number. When they invite you to their Ringlet organization, you get access to their shared numbers and conversations — without mixing it with your own stuff. Your Personal plan handles your number. Their Team or Business plan handles theirs. You can be a member of multiple organizations simultaneously, each neatly separated.
"I can't afford a second phone line but I need to look professional."
A real US or Canadian business number for $10/month. Custom voicemail greeting ("You've reached [Your Business], leave a message..."), outbound texting so you can reach out to leads, and voicemail transcription so you can read messages instead of listening to them between jobs. Your one-person operation sounds like a real company — because it is one.
"I just want to not think about work after 6 PM."
Mute your Ringlet notifications. Work messages still come in, they just wait quietly until you're ready. Your personal phone keeps ringing for the things that matter. Monday morning, open Ringlet and deal with work on your terms. That boundary doesn't exist when everything lives in one message thread.
What $10/month actually gets you
- Your own business phone number
- $3 in monthly usage included (~175 inbound texts)
- Outbound SMS — text clients first
- Voicemail with automatic transcription
- Up to 3 numbers (consulting + side gig + ?)
- Join client organizations at no extra cost
* Google Voice: no voicemail transcription, no outbound SMS to shortcodes, limited to US, no team features.

Questions from freelancers
Do I need the Team plan if I work alone?
No. The Personal plan at $10/month is built for solo operators. You get your own business number with inbound and outbound SMS, voicemail transcription, and push notifications. Upgrade to Team ($25/mo) only if you need API access, more than 3 numbers, or want to invite collaborators to your own organization.
Can I join a client's organization with my Personal plan?
Yes. Your Personal plan covers your own number. You can be invited as a member of any client's Team or Business organization at no extra cost to you. You'll see their shared numbers and conversations in the app, completely separate from your personal business number.
Will clients ever see my personal number?
Never. Your Ringlet number is completely separate from your personal phone number. When you text a client from Ringlet, they see your Ringlet business number. Your personal number, personal texts, and personal calls are invisible to them.
Can I text clients from my business number?
Yes. Outbound SMS is included on every plan. Send and receive texts from your business number through the Ringlet app — full two-way conversations. No SIM swapping, no call forwarding hacks.
What if I have multiple lines of work?
The Personal plan supports up to 3 numbers. Run a consulting practice, a side project, and a freelance gig — each with its own number, all managed from one app. Additional numbers are $2/month each with a one-time $3 activation fee.
How is this different from Google Voice?
Google Voice is a personal tool that Google could shut down any time (remember Hangouts?). Ringlet gives you voicemail transcription, outbound SMS to any number, Canadian numbers, the ability to join client team organizations, and up to 3 separate numbers. You also get push notifications and a dedicated app designed for business use — not a side feature of a Google account.
Stop handing out your personal number.
The next client who asks for your number should get your business number.
No contracts. No second phone. Set up in under 5 minutes.
